Activity falls into four recurring strands: free screening, clinical education, institutional partnership and public awareness. Each strand runs continuously rather than as a one-off campaign.
Free diabetes screening camps
Organised by Lyallpur Diabetes Foundation in collaboration with the Primary Care Diabetes Association Pakistan, bringing testing to neighbourhoods and workplaces at no cost.
Health screening for industrial workers
A free health screening camp for Faisalabad's industrial workforce — a population that rarely reaches a clinic during working hours.
CME on advances in diabetes care
Continuing medical education sessions held with the Primary Care Diabetes Association, keeping primary care practitioners current on treatment.
Seminar on non-nutritive sweeteners
Hosted with the National Institute of Food Science and Technology (NIFSAT) at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad, on sweeteners and diabetes management.
International collaboration
Work in Liverpool, UK, establishing collaboration for advanced diabetes care and bringing that practice back to Faisalabad.
